Joel Wong is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional and a Registered Environmental Assessor. Joel served as the Division Leader of the Environmental, Safety and Health Division at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He founded and owned Environmental and Safety Resources a private consultation service.
 
Since retirement in 2000, Joel has served on many API Organizations in various capacities, including
President of CAPA (Chinese American Political Association) and Chair of the CAPA Community Education Fund. Joel is the current President of NAAPAC (formerly 80-20 PAC) and current President of NAAUnited (formerly 80-20 United), a 501C3 organization
